Located in the Göktürk neighborhood of Istanbul’s Eyüpsultan district, Kemer Country is a distinguished residential and social complex developed since 1986. Initially conceived as a high end gated community, the area has evolved into a low density living environment home to nearly 4,000 residents. It embodies an exclusive residential vision shaped by a long term architectural layering.
In this design phase, the project’s facade strategy focuses on maintaining the site’s natural character while introducing contemporary materiality. Wooden pergolas and metal mesh systems are utilized across elevations to create dynamic shadows and filtered transparency. Local stone cladding complements these materials, enhancing the visual depth of the facade while grounding the architecture in its natural context.
Roof geometries are deliberately varied, offering a fragmented yet harmonious silhouette that blends with the wooded surroundings. These roof articulations, paired with open pergolas and textured surfaces, create a layered elevation language that reflects both environmental sensitivity and refined aesthetics.
