The project area is located in Başakşehir District of Istanbul. The size of the land is approximately 3.7 million square meters. At the beginning of the project, 73% of the land left completely green.

In the project, housing, education and health areas, parks and sports areas, shopping and office areas are combined. The circulation bridge, inspired by the original topographical structure of the area, provides pedestrian and bicycle access by following the trail of the valley. The project, planned by many sustainable systems, is not designed with closed site logic, but with a neighbourhood logic to develop the region.

Concept

By designing this project, we were not only targeting just to design a building but also to meet all the needs of the area. Therefore we also designed a master plan that can bring wave of changes starting from facility building to all its environment.. so we didn’t look at this project as just one building, it is more important to think its own environment together…

The project area is located in the industrial zone of Muscat City of Oman. It will be designed as one single service point where all the important facilities will be gathered in this building. The location is in the center of the industrial zone, therefore the proposed design is not addressed only at the building scale. Considering future changes and needs, a master plan has been proposed in the project area. In the design phase of the entire project has been designed that integrates with the surrounding roads, taking into account the region’s original architectural and natural conditions.

The southern part of the project area (The Mosque area) is protected. With the development of the region, the use of a hotel on the north side has been proposed for the accommodation of people and employees who come there for business. In connection therewith, the auditorium, conference and exhibition halls are located in the east of the area. So the land is completely surrounded. The gap left on the southeastern-northwest axis provided pedestrian access and a small market was built on this axis and the regional commercial character of the region was maintained.

The project area is located in the Tandoğan District in Çankaya District of Ankara. It was decided to re-use the existing building as Oyak Head Office Building. Roads and its degrees in the environment were the primary factors in the settlement decision. In determining the form, the natural factors in the environment and the location of the structures in the neighboring parcels were taken into consideration.

It was designed in S form by moving away from the existing buildings in the surrounding parcels. By using glass on all four sides of the façade, the natural light requirement of an office building was provided all day long. It is aimed to provide employee satisfaction and intertwined with nature with the green terrace areas created by S form.

It has been decided that green uses should be designed not only on terrace areas but also on the roof. Floors were placed on top of each other by shifting and floor gardens were created. The entrances of the office building are designed taking into consideration the surrounding transport networks. Considering the usage and needs of the office building, different entrances were asked to be designed for different people.

In accordance with the site decisions, the surrounding green area was removed from the surrounding buildings and reinterpreted within the project and special terrace areas were created. In this way, a spacious working environment is created for the employees. The visual interactions between the floors were increased with the gallery spaces created in the circulation areas within the building.

The Erciyes Ski Tourism Master Plan has been designed to make use of a stylish and functional ski resort and hotel to meet the increasing demand every year in the changing and developing region. In this context, it is designed not just a ski resort, but an event center enriched with various training and playgrounds, with tools and paths that people of all ages can easily use.

It is also planned to support Al Bustan Palace in order to respond to all needs of tourism in this region. While the layout plan is being prepared, users must have private areas that do not see each other’s view point, so privacy was the main priority.

In the project area, there are many public buildings such as education buildings, hospital and the governorship. It was the main decision of the project to connect these structures, to create a distinct pedestrian cross between the Hagia Sophia Museum and Trabzon Boulevard and to create a square fed by axes from the city.

The Municipality Additional Service Building, museums, offices, trade units are located on the axis which is continuing in the east-west direction starting from the governorship in the east of the area. The west part of this line ends with a cultural center and a mosque. In the square it is designed a settlement zone which has the hotels & offices and trade units in.

After all the analyzes made, it has been decided that a total design should be created between TemaIstanbul and TemaWorld Project, so a design should be made on this site which creates a gradual elevation in the section. It is important to plan a landscape that looks at the entire TemaWorld landscape in the project, but it is also quieter and tranquil in itself, with plenty of green water, cafes, and activity areas. It is also important to design the private school designed as a commercial use within the project area. It is important that the apartments that are low rise and spacious with spacious balconies and high comfort in the interior architecture and the prospective project in the project area located in a prominent position stand out among the prestigious projects in the province.

Decisions of the situation in the design phase of the project have been taken in relation to the environment. Blocks were directed to establish a visual connection with the theme park project to be located in the south of the area. In harmony with the topography, the school is situated on the northern front in terms of ease of access, while residences rise gradually in order to provide maximum benefit from the scenery.

Landscape architecture with residential blocks has been set up as a whole. Direct access to each residential block is provided to the landscaping application, which offers visual satisfaction with its organic form of design. It offers an environment where users can socialize with their recreational space and water items.

The housing blocks are confused and gradually placed in the ground, and no structure has been closed. On this site, the residents of the site, who can benefit from the daylight equally, also have easy access to the view.

Ouagadougou City has many inspirational traits to be used or portrayed. That gives us inspiration for creating a good architecture for the Juicidal Building Complex of Burkina Faso. The representation of the tribal mask as a façade mesh, and the ethnic patterns on the structure as an envelope relating the design to the culture and folklore of the area. The usage of local materials is for minimum cost and a more sustainable approach.

Starting from the water gathering ecological pond in its landscape, the vertical gardens, minimal environmental damage, local tree implementation, to the renewable materials used in the design. Making it intertwine with nature creating a smooth transition from the forest it sets near to, along with the crowded city.
