Concept

The project area is in an area in the north of Baku, where the resort areas are located. It is 20 km from Heydar Aliyev Airport and 40 km from Baku Center. There are beaches, hotels and summer residences around the area that has a coast to the Caspian Sea. The area, which is currently a wellness center with its soviet-era structures, has been redesigned to meet today’s needs and include many different functions with the wellness center concept.

Concept

Jericho is a Palestinian city located near to the Jordan River, north of the Dead Sea, and east of Jerusalem. Jericho is the only boarder between Palestine and the world fot the west bank. In the project area, arrangements have been made on the masterplan already designed. While the residential areas were increased, culture, commercial, recreation and tourism areas were reorganized and made more functional. At the design stage of the project, the historical value, new functional qualities, needs of tourists and locals were prioritized.

Concept

The project area is surrounded by the natural beauties of Istanbul and has strong transportation links. In the project, a self-contained residential area is designed intertwined with nature. Within the residential area, a boulevard has been created, which forms the backbone of transportation and has residences on the ground floors, and commercial residences on the upper floors. 

All reinforcement areas are associated with the boulevard and located on this axis and square areas are defined in these areas. The villas are located in the regions on both sides of the boulevard and in these regions, areas with strong neighborly relations have been created. Most of the recreational uses such as sports fields, club building, walking areas are designed in integration with the green buffer created around the project area.

The settlement is only planned on the 3rd Degree Protected Natural Area and 1st Degree Protected Natural Area has been preserved in its natural state without any construction activity. Also within the 3rd Degree Protected Natural Area; tree survey, existing roads and approved road projects were analyzed and suitable residential areas were determined so that no trees were damaged.

The project area is located in the Central district of Baku, which is the capital city of Azerbaijan and also the most populous city with a population of approximately two million, in the west of the city center, near the Winter Garden and Central Park connected by Fuzuli Avenue. In parallel with the park, Abdulla Şaiq Street in the west and Fuzuli Street in the south are the main transportation axes. Access to public transportation stops is provided from Cafer Cabbarlı Street to the east.

The project started as the 2nd stage of a large masterplan project process divided into 5 stages. Therefore, a design language and mass strategy open to possible connections should be followed. The city park, which was initiated as the first stage, formed a holistic park by combining the green areas along the Fuzuli Street, and at the end of the street, it surrounded the second and third stages.

The project area is located in Arnavutköy District of Istanbul. The size of the land is 2.8 million square meters. The project area is located on a developing area through the “Canal Istanbul” route which is one of the Istanbul’s mega projects.

In the project area, which is located in the northern forests of Istanbul, low-rise buildings are designed and the forested areas are completely protected. A wide range of social activities and hobby gardens are planned between the canal and settlements. The project area, which attracts attention with its proximity to the İstanbul Airport, is designed with a city fiction where the employees will live in.

The project area is located in Başakşehir District of Istanbul. The size of the land is approximately 3.7 million square meters. At the beginning of the project, 73% of the land left completely green. In the project, housing, education and health areas, parks and sports areas, shopping and office areas are combined. The circulation bridge, inspired by the original topographical structure of the area, provides pedestrian and bicycle access by following the trail of the valley. The project, planned by many sustainable systems, is not designed with closed-site logic, but with a neighbourhood logic to develop the region.

The project area is located in Maltepe District of Istanbul. The size of this old military territory is about 11 million square meters. At the beginning of the project, 50% of the land left completely to the greenery.

With active green areas designed in the built environment, 80% of the land is protected. In the project a variety of facilities, including residential areas that address different socioeconomic levels, office areas, education and health areas, parks and sports areas and trade areas are combined. A main road that passes through the project area creates accessibility by connecting the south and north of the region.

Concept

The project along the Aegean Sea is designed with inspiration from nature and local architecture in terms of location. Creating an olive branch with its leaves joined to the green and blue altar with residential units spread out in the area. It is provided with pedestrian and vehicle bridges reaching the entertainment, trade, sports and hotel units opposite the Havran River. A living architecture is aimed with the units continuing circulation in nature and responding to different needs.

Havran River serves a crucial function in the project site for many years, however in the project, river have even more usage while dividing the functions and characteristic zones between, enriches the recreational areas and defines the project as a part of the Mediterranean culture.

In the project area, low rise villa type buildings are designed based on the local architecture of the region. Southeast of the area has been proposed as an area where solar panels will produce energy for the settlements. Material used in buildings are designed to integrate within the urban fabric. Design language of the houses, at the borders of the project have taken inspirations from local vernacular architecture.

While main vehicle axis passes through the project site, it is used as a divider element to segmentation of various parts and functions in the project. The western part is fairly pedestrian-oriented, with increased circulation between north and south axis through pedestrian bridges, urban facilities, recreational zones and intersections with the shore area.

Commercial element of the project is scattered in the project in a very subtle way. Throughout various pedestrian axis and recreational areas, cubicle masses are placed within the texture. At the east of the project there is a sports facility between the mosque and housing complex.

In the project area, white and low-rise villa type buildings are designed based on the local architecture of the region. Southeast of the area has been proposed as an area where solar panels will produce energy for the settlements.
