Hergelen, which was settled around an old neighborhood square, has lost its influence today. The fact that the city is gradually losing its identity is easily observable for both experts and the inhabitants. Urban transformation and improvement works have emerged from this point. While preserving the existing urban identity heritage, it is also desirable to uncover it and become better conditions and a renewed region.
Unqualified structures were cleaned, except for registered structures and structures that need to be protected. New axes and parcels were created as a result of the traces of registered buildings. These parcels have been redesigned with targeted functions that will enliven the area.
