Located in the Aghdam region, this social housing project is designed to respond to the increasing residential demand of the area following its reconstruction. Positioned near key regions such as Kalbajar, Khojavend, Shusha, and Fizuli, the site holds strategic importance both geographically and symbolically.
Defined by predominantly flat terrain with patches of mountainous relief, the region features a natural richness with local materials such as limestone, cement, and gravel. The Khachin, Kotel, and Gargar rivers contribute to the area’s ecological and hydrological texture.
The project is shaped by a dual strategy: while commercial units are placed along main transportation arteries for easy public access, the residential blocks are distanced from vehicular intensity through generous landscape buffers. These green corridors not only organize circulation but also offer public open spaces that enhance quality of life. Emphasizing functionality and modest aesthetics, the design fosters an inclusive, accessible, and community-oriented environment for future residents.
