Located in Antalya’s Muratpaşa district, the project stems from a vision that places sustainability and human-scale design at the heart of its planning approach. Rooted in climatic sensitivity, the masterplan was shaped through extensive environmental analyses including wind flow, solar exposure, and landscape orientation to determine the most responsive massing layout and urban organization.
The development integrates residential, commercial, and office functions through a layered urban fabric that adapts to topography while maintaining spatial and ecological balance. Each mass was carefully evaluated and adjusted according to solar gain, wind corridors, and visibility axes to ensure maximum environmental comfort. Building volumes were shifted or rotated to enhance shade and natural ventilation, while selective floor reductions optimized view accessibility and minimized shadow impact.
Public permeability was a guiding principle throughout the design process. Key pedestrian and vehicular movement data from the surrounding area informed entrance placements and public square configurations, ensuring integration with the city’s daily flow. Inspired by Antalya’s traditional architectural heritage, narrow commercial streets were introduced to enhance urban porosity and passive solar control.
The relationship between architecture and landscape was structured to protect existing trees and enhance biodiversity. Green terraces and sky gardens continue the footprint of natural land cover into vertical living environments. Below the blocks, active plinths define open-air commercial and social programs that animate the public realm and support a diverse user profile.
A series of soft interventions including shaded pathways, community gardens, and wind tunnels for natural ventilation create a climatic resilience across the site. Seven commercial entrances and two parking accesses ensure programmatic efficiency while maintaining a pedestrian first ethos.
With its performance driven morphology and contextual depth, the project proposes a regenerative urban strategy that bridges environmental stewardship with contemporary urban life.
