Located in one of Istanbul’s most dynamic urban junctions, Artaş Mecidiyeköy is conceived as a compact and multi layered development that seamlessly integrates residential life with street-level commerce. The project comprises five blocks shaped in response to an L shaped plot, organizing circulation and density along two distinct yet interlinked axes.

Each block rises five floors above ground, with the top floors allocated to penthouse residences. The design approach prioritizes urban continuity by forming a porous corridor along the base of the buildings, where commercial units activate the street front while interior façades open up to a landscaped courtyard reserved for residents. This spatial strategy fosters a dual engagement with both the city and the internal green network.

Vehicular and pedestrian movements are clearly separated, with parking access from the eastern edge and individual entries defined for each residential block. The shared green spine features a rich combination of walking paths, shaded decks, pools, and softscape transitions that enhance public-private interplay.

Façade articulation follows a consistent language, ensuring material and formal harmony across the blocks. Continuity in elevation lines and rhythmic detailing establishes a cohesive urban character while accommodating individual identity.

By leveraging topographic variation and connecting different programs through a unified ground plane, the project articulates a nuanced relationship between architecture, landscape, and community life.
