The project envisions a holistic master plan within the industrial zone of Muscat City, Oman, where architectural design goes beyond the singular structure and instead encompasses the full environmental, infrastructural, and functional spectrum of the site. The proposed service building is at the heart of this vision, designed as a flexible structure whose functions can be expanded and adapted over time through phased construction. This approach ensures operational continuity while responding to the evolving needs of the industrial campus.
A strategic emphasis is placed on preserving and enhancing the southern portion of the site for a mosque, supporting the spiritual and communal needs of users. Surrounding this central anchor, the master plan introduces complementary functions such as a hotel, auditorium, conference halls, and a small scale market. These additions aim to reinforce the commercial identity of the zone while improving service quality and enhancing the daily life of users within the broader industrial context.
By addressing both physical form and future scalability, the design offers a robust and forward looking development framework. The result is a self sufficient, diverse, and contextually grounded environment that balances productivity, comfort, and long term adaptability.
