Located along Mustaqillik Avenue in the capital city of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Darhon Towers Project reclaims a centrally situated 7,500 m² site once occupied by older structures, now cleared for transformation. Flanked by a riverbed on one edge and an undeveloped park on the other, the project operates as a connective threshold between landscape and infrastructure, topography and urban movement.

The masterplan explores three functional configurations fully commercial, mixed-use with residential and commercial, and a hybrid of both. The selected scheme integrates two residential towers atop commercial bases, surrounding a central square and a cascading terrace system that follows the natural slope of the land. The design is rooted in the site’s topographic reality and proximity to the city core, transforming gradient into opportunity.

Pedestrian circulation is directed inward via plazas and stepped platforms that link the park, river, and street edge. A deliberate setback from Mustaqillik Avenue creates a buffer between fast vehicular flow and the social program of the project. Retail functions cafes, restaurants, cinemas, and markets activate the lower levels, while the residential towers above orient toward the green corridor and skyline views.

The design enhances urban porosity and public use by treating the park as a spatial extension of the project. Future tree planting within the park and natural buffer zones along the river aim to redefine the site as a green anchor. At the same time, visual and pedestrian linkages to city infrastructures including roads, transit lines, and open spaces position the towers as both local landmark and urban interface.
