The Mesa Karanfil P1 Parcel project is envisioned as a contemporary office complex shaped by an organic massing strategy and flowing curvilinear surfaces. The site consists of four office blocks unified by a main office building, designed not only as functional structures but as strong urban markers contributing to the city’s silhouette.
Functional Organization and Public Spaces
The project’s ambition is to go beyond creating office buildings, transforming the area into a vibrant center of attraction. A pedestrian oriented and permeable planning strategy introduces secondary streets, courtyards, and semi-open spaces, establishing a fluid circulation that invites users in while fostering social interaction and public engagement.
Central Circulation and Spatial Connections
At the heart of the design lies a central circulation stair that interconnects the four office blocks. More than just a vertical transport element, it acts as a point of encounter, orientation, and visual connection, enriching the collective urban experience.
Sustainability and Materiality
Natural wooden panels add warmth to the façade language while serving as an environmentally conscious material choice. Permeable design principles reinforce the relationship between architecture and landscape, while shading elements enhance climatic comfort. This sustainable approach is seamlessly integrated with the project’s architectural aesthetics.
Mobility and Social Life
Instead of prioritizing fast vehicular traffic, a slowed circulation model was adopted, ensuring safety and creating a user friendly environment. This allows office buildings and surrounding retail units to generate a lively public realm with strong social interaction.
