Strategically positioned on one of Kayseri’s most prominent thoroughfares, Galeri Residences is a multi functional urban project that integrates residential, office, showroom, and retail units into a cohesive, self sustaining design. The spatial organization allows various functions to support one another, creating a lively and interconnected urban ecosystem.
The project includes a residential block and an office block, with a showroom placed at the base of these two structures. Retail modules, designed with multiple façades, contribute to the vibrancy of the site. A private indoor parking facility serves the residential units, while open parking areas are allocated for commercial visitors, ensuring tailored accessibility solutions for each function.
Design Strategy and Architectural Composition
Referencing the adjacent airport road, one of the key orientation lines of the city, the gallery-office block is shaped with an organic massing strategy that responds to the urban silhouette. To emphasize the gallery entrance, the volume expands forward and laterally, creating a visually inviting gesture.
The commercial units are arranged in three distinct modules, each offering multi directional façade opportunities. These volumes are simplified to enhance transitions, while their upper floors are staggered in various directions to reinforce the interplay of open and enclosed spaces. The façades are conceived to be not only aesthetically consistent but also functionally active, supported by street level decks to foster user engagement.
Landscape Design and Public Realm Integration
Landscape plays a central role in enriching both the visual appeal and functional quality of the project. Plantings, water features, pedestrian pathways, open plazas, and pocket parks are integrated to promote ecological sensitivity and user comfort. This strategy enhances both the liveability and the environmental sustainability of the development, contributing to a high quality urban experience.
