Located in Ankara’s Tandoğan district, the OYAK Headquarters Building redefines the notion of a modern office through its emphasis on sustainability, efficiency, and spatial well-being. Situated in a strategic governmental and institutional zone, the building acts as both a corporate symbol and an operational core for the organization.
The architectural strategy is centered on energy conscious design, with the integration of natural ventilation, optimized daylight intake, and high performance façade systems. These elements contribute not only to environmental performance but also to user comfort and operational efficiency. The building’s orientation and envelope design are calibrated to minimize energy consumption throughout the year.
Interiors are organized around central courtyards and planted voids, creating a sense of openness while promoting biophilic principles. Green terraces, indoor gardens, and natural material palettes enhance the quality of the workspace, fostering productivity and psychological well-being. Circulation and spatial hierarchies are defined with clarity, ensuring intuitive use for both visitors and employees.
