Located in the eastern periphery of Ankara, in the growing urban fabric of Mamak, the Oyak Zirvekent project envisions a nature integrated residential experience. Designed over an area of 11,228 m², the development includes mid-rise residential blocks, a kindergarten, outdoor sports areas, communal facilities, and water focused landscaping. With its terrace and garden-level units facing the forest edge, the project establishes a porous, layered relationship between city life and the landscape.
The site strategy places the denser functions on the western edge to align with the major access roads, while the housing blocks cascade down toward the east in response to the site’s natural topography. Limiting buildings to a maximum of six floors allows light, ventilation, and views to permeate all units, maintaining a human scale silhouette against the forested backdrop.
At the heart of the settlement, shared open spaces and a central social facility support community interaction. Pedestrian friendly walkways, outdoor seating areas, and sports grounds are distributed across terraced platforms. Meanwhile, the kindergarten is integrated into the residential layout with separated pedestrian and vehicular access, ensuring both safety and connectivity.
