The project area located in the Altındağ district of Ankara is situated to the north of the city center, in close proximity to the Ankara Courthouse and Gençlik Parkı (Youth Park). To the west of the park lies Anafartalar Avenue, and to the south is Talatpaşa Boulevard. The project area is near significant structures such as the Ankara Courthouse, the Train Station, Anıtkabir (Atatürk’s Mausoleum), and the Atatürk Cultural Center. The name of the region was given based on the assumption that it is a square where “everyone” stops by due to its proximity to the bus terminal.

The historical structures known as “Ankara Houses” hold architectural value in the region, and the aim is to preserve many of these buildings and highlight their characteristics. The project approach focuses on maintaining the existing structures while designing new ones that do not overshadow the historical buildings, thereby preserving the fabric of the area. Simultaneously, the objective is to develop the squares and transportation networks to create a more comfortable and sustainable space, revitalizing the region by introducing new functions.
