The Kahramanmaraş Altınova project was conceived as a multi phased development rooted in data informed urban analysis, where natural landscape features particularly the stream axis traversing the site played a formative role in shaping the spatial configuration.  A protective buffer zone was established around this water corridor, guiding settlement patterns and enabling the definition of localized neighborhood centers responsive to both ecological and programmatic needs.

The masterplan comprises seven development phases, each integrating residential typologies with essential services such as education, healthcare, commercial units, and social spaces. This structure ensures functional self-sufficiency at the local scale while contributing to the coherence of the overall scheme.

To foster social interaction and interconnectivity among phases, three central public squares were positioned as spatial anchors. Each is distinguished by its own programmatic focus, serving as key nodes for collective activity and neighborhood identity. A hierarchical circulation system comprising primary arteries and secondary connectors links the phases and public spaces, allowing seamless movement while maintaining legibility across the site.

By aligning ecological sensitivity with social infrastructure, the Altınova Masterplan delivers an inclusive and resilient urban framework where landscape, function, and community coalesce.
