Erciyes Pediatric Hematology Oncology Hospital is a project of critical importance not only for the city of Kayseri but also for the national healthcare landscape of Türk,ye. Located within the premises of Erciyes University Hospital and approximately four hours from the capital Ankara, the project responds to a vital gap in pediatric oncology care. While Kayseri has five hospitals equipped with oncology units, only two include pediatric oncology departments one of which is private, making it less accessible for the broader public. The new addition to the Erciyes University Hospital campus will thus serve as Türkiye’s largest and most comprehensive pediatric hematology and oncology facility, offering equitable and high quality care.
The hospital’s interior architecture is developed around the concepts of comfort and well-being. Each floor includes a centrally positioned nurse station to ensure optimal visibility and accessibility from all patient rooms, improving both safety and operational efficiency. Colorful, spacious interiors and integrated play areas on every floor are designed to alleviate the clinical feel of a hospital and bring joy and ease to young patients throughout their healing journey.
