Jericho is a Palestinian city situated close to the Jordan River, north of the Dead Sea, and to the east of Jerusalem. It serves as the sole border crossing point between Palestine and the West Bank.

In the designated project area, adjustments have been implemented within the existing masterplan. Residential zones were expanded while cultural, commercial, recreational, and tourism areas were restructured for enhanced functionality. During the project’s design phase, a focus was placed on historical significance, new functional attributes, and the requirements of both tourists and locals.

The main axis has been dedicated to recreational spaces, optimizing their placement for accessibility. Commercial and tourist zones were positioned along this central axis to foster pedestrian engagement. High-end residential areas occupy positions facing the square facade, while regular residential zones are distributed in other sections.
