SP Architects took part in Oman Design & Build Week 2026 in Muscat, bringing together conversations around architecture, real estate, construction and the future of urban development.
Throughout the event, the SP Architects team met with industry professionals and stakeholders to exchange perspectives on future living, resilient cities, sustainable urban development and large-scale projects, while presenting selected work from across the practice’s international portfolio.
As part of the event, SP Architects Managing Partner Ayten Paşayiğit delivered a keynote titled “Resilient Cities: Designing Adaptive and Sustainable Urban Futures.” Her presentation explored how cities can create a stronger sense of belonging through human scale, identity and resilience, and how these principles can contribute to places people genuinely want to remain connected to.
At the SP Architects stand, the team also shared work from Sarooj Oasis, designed as a central ecological node within Sultan Haitham City. The project provided a basis for conversations around sustainable urbanism, public life and the environmental performance of future cities.
Alongside the exhibition, the team visited and examined ongoing and potential project areas in Oman. These on-site visits provided an opportunity to better understand the region’s urban development dynamics and explore future opportunities for collaboration.
