SP Architects took part in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), held in Baku from 17–22 May 2026, joining the international dialogue around the future of cities.
Throughout the forum, the team connected with professionals, institutions and stakeholders from different parts of the world to exchange perspectives on resilient cities, sustainable urbanism, future living environments and social impact. WUF13 provided an important platform for exploring current urban challenges, sharing ideas and building new collaborations.
As the architectural team behind COP31, which will take place in Antalya this year, SP Architects also represented Türkiye on an international platform and shared its work on the future of cities alongside the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
During WUF13, the team also engaged with media representatives in Azerbaijan, sharing SP Architects’ perspectives on sustainable urbanism, regional collaboration and socially driven approaches to urban development.
Through its Baku office, SP Architects continues to strengthen its presence in Azerbaijan. At the forum, the practice presented its ongoing projects across Azerbaijan and the Karabakh region, together with its regional vision and perspectives on future collaborations.
The meetings, sessions and conversations held throughout WUF13 created an opportunity to exchange knowledge and explore new approaches to making cities more resilient, inclusive and sustainable.
