SP Architects participated in IMAR 2026 – Syria International Reconstruction Fair, held in Damascus from 13–16 September 2026, joining conversations around Syria’s reconstruction, resilient cities and long-term urban development.
Throughout the four-day event, the team exchanged perspectives with industry professionals and stakeholders on an approach to reconstruction that extends beyond rebuilding individual structures and considers master planning, public life, infrastructure, resilience and long-term urban development as part of an integrated process.
At IMAR 2026, SP Architects presented Sham View, its 1.78 million m² master plan for north-west Damascus. The project brings together the existing geography, natural topography, green systems and new living environments within a comprehensive planning framework.
Sham View also provided a platform for sharing SP Architects’ approach to emerging urban development in Syria, while opening conversations around large-scale master planning, resilient cities and the future of living environments.
The fair created an important setting for establishing new connections, gaining direct insight into the region’s evolving needs and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
