SP Architects took part in high-level Türkiye–Oman meetings focused on urban development, housing and resilient cities.
Hosted by the Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the program brought together public officials and industry stakeholders with the participation of H.E. Dr. Khalfan Al Shueili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of the Sultanate of Oman, and the accompanying delegation.
Representing SP Architects, Managing Partner Ayten Paşayiğit joined the meetings alongside public representatives and international industry stakeholders. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Türkiye and the Sultanate of Oman in the fields of urban planning, housing development and city-making.
As part of the program, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Housing and Urban Planning marked an important step toward advancing sustainable urban development, strengthening knowledge exchange and supporting future joint initiatives between the two countries.
The meetings also provided a platform for exchanging perspectives on resilient cities, sustainable urban growth, master planning and long-term approaches to urban development in response to the evolving needs of cities.
